HIMAWARI

Finisher: Sunflower Tempest, Reverse Half Crab, Princess Drop

Meet HIMAWARI , “The Powerful Cheeky Chap”! Her name means “sunflower” in Japanese, and that is exactly the energy she brings to the ring: bright, bold, and impossible to ignore.

A stage actress with a degree in musical theater, HIMAWARI made her TJPW debut at Korakuen Hall on January 4, 2023, against Yuki Aino. That theater background shows in every match, with some of the best facial expressions in wrestling. In her rookie year she battled all the way to the finals of the Next Generation Tournament , falling just short against Wakana Uehara.

Her secret weapon? Her hair. She has never cut it since the day she was born (except for her bangs), and she swings it at opponents in every match. Sometimes it ends up wrapped around her own neck instead.

In 2025 she challenged for the International Princess Championship [bold], then formed the tag team “Bumping gRitters” with fellow 2023 debut Shino Suzuki to chase the Princess Tag Team titles. She is no stranger to American crowds either: she made her MLW debut in Los Angeles and challenged Shoko Nakajima for the MLW Women’s Featherweight Championship .
