Zara Zakher

“The Petite Powerhouse”

Imagine fusing the dazzling agility of Suzume with the raw power of Miu Watanabe , you’d get “The Petite Powerhouse” Zara Zakher . Born and raised in San Diego, California, from her first year in the ring she turned heads with her speed and strength. Choosing to handspring into her CONTROL Z CUTTER , or drill her opponents neck first into the mat with her signature Z-CRUSHER . Zara quickly made waves across the West Coast, eventually catching the eye of Tokyo Joshi Pro Wrestling, as she made her debut for the organization in February 2024.

Its one thing to get thrown into waters this deep in your rookie year, its another thing to thrive in them. From her first match against Mizuki she proved she could hang with the players of TJPW. Cementing it with a semi-final run in the 2024 Tokyo Princess Cup , wowing fans worldwide. Then challenging a woman of similar strength in Miu Watanabe for the Princess of Princess Championship , and losing to 121000000 for the Princess Tag Titles . This would be the last fans in Japan saw of Zara, not until Wrestle Princess 2026 .

After sabbatical away from the ring Zara returned in the best shape of her life, managing to outpace the Big Kaiju herself. No small feat to be sure, and while Shoko Nakajima would walk out victorious, it proved that there was still a place in TJPW for the Petite Powerhouse. With Texas Stampede II coming up, Zara has a chance to keep that momentum up, and perhaps pick up a win along the way. See “The Petite Powerhouse” Zara Zakher in Texas this December!
